1. What we collect
Account: email address, display name, profile picture if you add one, language, notification preferences.
Use: houses, rooms, stays, participants, and the practical details you enter: house address, access codes, WiFi credentials.
Technical: the device’s notification token, error logs. The app does not request your device’s location. The house address and its coordinates are processed to display the place you selected.
Sign in with Apple: when this feature is enabled, an Apple authorization is stored encrypted on the server so it can be revoked when you delete your account. It is removed after revocation and is not included in your data export.
2. Photos
Photos of houses, rooms and profiles are stored with our host and served from public, unindexed URLs: anyone who knows the exact address can view the image, even without an account.
So do not put in them what you would not put behind a shareable link. Deleting a photo in the app removes it from storage.
3. People without an account
A member can add the first and last name of a guest who does not use Priboo to a stay. Those people have therefore agreed to nothing with us.
This data is limited to a name, visible only to members of the house, and deleted with the stay. The member who enters it is responsible for having the person’s agreement. Anyone concerned may write to us to have it deleted.
4. Purposes
Running the service: showing availability, telling members what changed.
Managing subscriptions and verifying purchases with the stores.
Keeping accounts secure and fixing faults.
5. Legal basis
Performance of the contract for everything that runs the service, your consent for notifications, and our legitimate interest for security and fault fixing.
6. Retention
Identifying account data is removed when the account is deleted. Past stays in retained houses can remain linked to an anonymized identity to preserve the shared history. Account deletion does not erase every historical record or subscription transaction.
Stays are kept for as long as the house exists. Technical logs are kept only for the duration necessary and proportionate to securing the service and investigating faults.
7. Your rights
You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability.
Access, rectification, account deletion and data export are available directly in the app. Export creates a JSON file that you can save or share using your device. For any other request, write to contact@priboo.app. You may also complain to your supervisory authority.
8. Tracking
The app uses no advertising cookie, no third-party tracker and no analytics tool. No data is sold or passed on for advertising.
9. Processors
Supabase: hosting of the database, storage and authentication.
Google Places, when enabled, and LocationIQ as an alternative: address search. The text you type is sent through our server to the provider used for suggestions. Selecting a Google suggestion sends its place identifier and a search session identifier to Google to retrieve the postal address. This postal address is then sent to LocationIQ to obtain coordinates. Your device’s position is not sent for this search.
Apple Maps on iOS and Google Maps on Android: display of the selected address on a map. These providers process map requests under their own privacy policies.
Expo: delivery of push notifications. Apple and Google: subscription processing.
Resend: delivery of invitation emails.
